The Skinology family consists of a knowledgeable, gracious and professional team of individuals dedicated to promoting and creating a positive and warm atmosphere so that our clients can receive the best possible care. We are pleased to introduce to you the individuals that make Skinology, where science meets skin, a remarkable practice.
Jeffry Rocker, D.O.
Medical Director
Dr. Rocker serves as Medical Director for Skinology. He oversees all clinical operations of the spa. Skinology operates under the full-time, on-site supervision of Dr. Rocker, where he can offer a broad range of medical wellness and aesthetic care. Dr. Rocker received his bachelor degree from the University of Central Florida. He received his medical degree from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and trained as a resident at Florida Hospital East. Dr. Rocker has been board certified since 1991 to present. He has had a family practice in Oviedo since 1991.
In 2006 Dr. Rocker and his wife, Selena opened Skinology. Skinology is a medical spa that offers a wide array of cosmetic and aesthetic procedures in a nurturing and comfortable environment. Dr. Rocker has had continued education in advance cosmetic procedures for botox and dermal fillers since 2005 to present. He is also a teacher and a mentor for medical students and family practice medical residents for over 15 years. Dr. Rocker is a member of the following associations.

Selena Rocker, CME, CCE
Laser Technician, Paramedical Aesthetician, Medical Assistant
Selena has served as a licensed paramedical aesthetician in the skincare and medical field since 2003. She attended Florida College of Natural Health for her AS in paramedical aesthetics and she also attended the Vector Institute of Beauty and Electrolysis for Electrology. Selena has had advanced education in skincare, electrology, IPL treatments and Laser Safety. Selena is able to perform a variety of treatments at Skinology from consultations, pre and post treatment visits, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, photofacials, and hair removal to name a few. Selena also oversees marketing efforts, delivering patient care and clinical decision-making. She also communicates regularly with sales and product representatives and patients. Her favorite aspect of her job is educating and guiding patients to feel good about the decisions they make, to help build confidence and create a positive patient experience.

Christie Villanueva, LMT, NMT, SMT
Paramedical Aesthetician, Medical Assistant, Massage Therapist
Christie attended the Florida College of Natural Health where she received her advanced massage degree and an AS in paramedical aesthetics. She has served as a licensed paramedical aesthetician in the skincare and medical field since 2003. Christie is Dr. Rocker’s medical assistant and she works together with him to customize skin care programs, pre and post treatment visits, and skin care consultations. She performs a variety of chemical peels, microdermabrasions, and many other innovative facial treatments that we offer. She also designs Skinology’s monthly specials.
Christie’s diversity skill set allows her to be an integral part of our team. What Christie finds most fulfilling about her job is the satisfaction of helping facilitate the physical transformation and improving a patient’s self-esteem.

Betsy Adams
Patient Coordinator, Front Office Supervisor
Betsy serves as Skinology’s first point of contact, and has been with us since 2009. She possesses the unique abilities of a concierge, combined with a ready willingness to create a positive experience. She is responsible for scheduling and office administration as well as designing an inviting reception area for our patients. Not only does her assistance keep the front office running smoothly, but her knowledge and warmth reassures our patients.
Because of her vast knowledge in business and office administration, Betsy serves multiple roles. She’s a proficient, organized and punctual multi-tasker who enjoys how Skinology’s team-oriented environment provides patients with a “better than ever expected,” experience. Betsy’s favorite aspect of her job is interacting with patients and learning their story.
Amber MacKenzie
Social Media Marketing Coordinator, Assistant Patient Coordinator
Hailing from New Jersey, Amber is a newcomer to the Central Florida area and the latest member of the Skinology team. She manages our social networking efforts through Facebook and YouTube, assists in content for our newsletters and writes copy for our website. Her social media skills are an effective liaison between the patient, doctor and the facility. Amber is always ready to ensure that Skinology’s line of communication is open.
Amber also aids in the day-to-day operations at our front desk. Being detail-oriented, she is readily available to help when needed and enjoys her work. Amber appreciates the relaxed, friendly atmosphere that Skinology offers. She loves the energetic environment of the spa and looks forward to meeting and working with new patients.
