What is a Customized Peel?

Chemical peeling is a proven and effective method for skin rejuvenation. An active solution is applied to the surface of the skin which causes the superficial layer to peel off. The treatment exposes a new layer of healthy undamaged skin, resulting in a smoother texture and a more even skin tone.  Skinology can customize your peel solution for your individual skin concern.  Chemical peel solutions containing lactic acid, low concentrations of TCA, retinoic acids, salicylic acid, and glycolics combinations are good choices for gentle exfoliation with “wow” factor results.

Medical-strength skin peels will address the following skin concerns: uneven skin pigmentation, brown spots, age spots, melasma, rough or uneven skin texture, sun damage, acne, acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea, superficial blood vessel damage and pre-cancerous growths.

Skin peels are suitable for various areas, including: face, eyelids, neck, décolletage, hands, arms and legs.

The strength of the peel solution affects the depth of the treatment and the degree of exfoliation.
