The Skinology family and staff consists of a knowledgeable, gracious and professional team of individuals dedicated to promoting and creating a positive and warm atmosphere so that our clients can receive the best possible care. We are pleased to introduce to you the individuals that make Skinology, where science meets skin, a remarkable practice.

We take our responsibility to educate you seriously. From your first moment of contact, whether it is on the phone or in the spa, the highly personable and experienced staff are ready to accommodate your needs and answer your questions. Our technicians guide you through your choices to help you make an educated decision so that we can work together to build a plan personalized to your individual needs.

Dr. Rocker, D.O.

Dr. Rocker serves as Medical Director for Skinology. He oversees all clinical operations of the spa. Skinology operates under the full-time, on-site supervision of Dr. Rocker, where he can offer a broad range of medical wellness and aesthetic care. Dr. Rocker received his bachelor degree from the University of Central Florida. He received his medical degree from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and trained as a resident at Florida Hospital East. Dr. Rocker has been board certified since 1991 to present. He has had a family practice in Oviedo since 1991.

In 2006 Dr. Rocker and his wife, Selena opened Skinology. Skinology is a medical spa that offers a wide array of cosmetic and aesthetic procedures in a nurturing and comfortable environment. Dr. Rocker has had continued education in advance cosmetic procedures for botox and dermal fillers since 2005 to present. He is also a teacher and a mentor for medical students and family practice medical residents for over 15 years.

Selena Rocker, LE, CME, CCE

Selena has served as a licensed paramedical aesthetician in the skincare and medical field since 2003. She attended Florida College of Natural Health for her AS in paramedical aesthetics and she also attended the Vector Institute of Beauty and Electrolysis for Electrology. Selena has had advanced education in skincare, electrology, IPL treatments and Laser Safety. Selena is able to perform a variety of treatments at Skinology from consultations, pre and post treatment visits, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, photofacials, and hair removal to name a few. Selena also oversees marketing efforts, delivering patient care and clinical decision-making. She also communicates regularly with sales and product representatives and patients. Her favorite aspect of her job is educating and guiding patients to feel good about the decisions they make, to help build confidence and create a positive patient experience.

Susan Haynes, Practice Manager

Susan graduated from Tennessee Tech with a degree in business and has experience in marketing and has been trained in many aesthetic treatments. She began her career in the beauty industry as the administrator of a beauty school in 2010. After learning she had a passion for skin care she made a move toward this area as a client coordinator and treatment provider in cosmetic dermatology in 2011. Upon relocating to the Orlando area in 2018 she joined the Skinology team as practice manager where she plans to stay until her retirement.

Although no longer working as a treatment provider she likes to keep her training on procedures, products and all other areas of the field up to date and on point. Her favorite part of working in this field is seeing a patient gain confidence and holding their head a little higher.

Betsy Adams, Accounts

Betsy has been with us since 2009. She possesses the unique abilities of a concierge, combined with a ready willingness to create a positive experience. She is responsible for scheduling and office administration as well as designing an inviting reception area for our patients. Not only does her assistance keep the front office running smoothly, but her knowledge and warmth reassures our patients.

Because of her vast knowledge in business and office administration, Betsy serves multiple roles. She’s a proficient, organized and punctual multi-tasker who enjoys how Skinology’s team-oriented environment provides patients with a “better than ever expected,” experience. Betsy’s favorite aspect of her job is interacting with patients and learning their story.

Tia Bronson LE

Meet Tia!

Hailing from Kentucky but raised under the sunny skies of Central Florida, she brings a fresh, Southern charm to her role as an aesthetician. A proud graduate of Elise Esthetics Institute, Tia is thrilled to combine her passion for skincare with her bubbly, enthusiastic personality.

When she’s not making clients glow, you’ll find her whipping up delicious recipes in the kitchen, hitting the gym with energy, or embracing the great outdoors. A devoted churchgoer and dedicated dog mom to her spirited 4-year-old beagle, Tia infuses every day with joy and positivity.

Tia is excited to share her expertise and bright spirit, helping clients look and feel their absolute best.

Meet Michelle, a licensed esthetician with a passion for skincare and a dedication to her clients. Graduating from Cortiva Institute, she has honed her skills and knowledge to provide exceptional skincare services.

Beyond her professional expertise, Michelle is a devoted mother to her daughter, cherishing every moment spent with her family. Whether it's exploring nature trails on a hike or browsing through local farmers markets and festivals, she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life.

She values the connections she makes with her clients, prioritizing their satisfaction and well-being above all else. There's nothing more fulfilling to her than seeing her clients leave her studio with glowing, radiant skin and a smile on their faces.
